Are you running 64 bit windows? or 32 bit? I have 32 bit and it crashes when you "adjust".

That's good to know. Maybe I'll take my program in to Staples and see if it will run on one of their 64 bit machines.

Thanks for the info.

By the way, I tried out a new Sony 64 bit machine with an i7 processor and 6 megs of ram. Topcon Tools 8 or 7 would crash upon "adjust" just like my other Win 7 machine. I took the Sony back. Looks like Topcon isn't interested in updating their program. I contacted Topcon directly and they told me to ask a dealer. I asked the dealer and they had no answer, except that Topcon reproduced my problem months ago. I now have to use an old XP machine to run TT, or use XP mode, which is a pain.

Dave, Mine ran fine until an automatic windows update came through. Now it runs until I press "adjust", then it crashes. I've tries two win7 machines and three different versions of TT. All the same. I wish I knew.

Has your windows 7 installed service pack 1?

I don't know, it is at the office and I won't be in until Thursday.

I don't use TT all that often so for all I know it's not working right now.

According to my topcon service rep, the problem still exists and will be addressed in the next, soon to be releases, update of Topcon Tools.
