Anyone have this problem? I am able to navigate to anyplace on the net except this one site. I know the site is up and running. I was able to access the site up until last weekend. the webmaster checked and they claimed the site is working fine. I have checked the site from other networks ND IT IS ACCESSIBLE.

Which site is that? Does it feature scantily clad Ukrainian women demonstrating various surveying techniques, by any chance?

Have you tried a different browser? The first thing I try when Firefox starts giving me trouble is to launch Chrome.

Well, I was simply trying to reconstruct the conditions leading up to the problem you described.

Can you reach the server? Try running a tracert on it. On a Win7 or XP machine, you can do this by launching a command window and typing "tracert ", e.g. "tracert www.dcn.org". That'll show you if you're reaching the server at all, and where you're bombing out if not.

Sometimes your provider has an issue with their DNS tables. Try opening a dos command prompt then type ping www.beerleg.com for example. If it returns an ip address then it's usually a browser issue. Also you can use a DNS lookup tool online to find the IP address of the site and key that into your browser rather than the URL. If your provider is having DNS table issues, using the IP rather than the URL will bypass the problem.

Have you checked your firewall?
You may have it in your "blocked sites/domains" list somehow.
