2 watt radio and a 35 watt unit,?ÿ

2 watt
35 watt

They simply put an amp on top of the 2 watt unit, the best thing you could do is buy an actual 35 watt radio off the internet, I'd imagine they would be the same price as the 2 watt units or very close to it.?ÿ

I don't know if they still work I would be suspect that you can use them, out of the states maybe.?ÿ

Good afternoon, I wanted to connect the RFA96 unit as a "RADIO", but as you mention that this is only an "AMPPLIFIER", my question would be:

Can I connect this RFA96W amplifier to an RFM96W model radio?

I appreciate your answers, greetings.

We have gone beyond my knowledge base.

I would suspect that it would be possible to jump between a 2 watt radio and your amp and create a 35 watt radio.

If that's ever been tried, I haven't heard about it.

However, you would need to purchase the 2 watt radio, cables to connect the two units, hope your existing amp still is viable and then you would have two units sitting apart as a radio, an awkward set-up.

Looking on the internet you can find a 35 watt radio complete for roughly the same cost as a 2 watt radio. Simply purchase a 35 watt radio, it would be cheaper than the 2 watt radio and the cables to make it work.

Examples of these radios can be the Pacific Crest Radios in their PDL, ADL and EDL versions, or am I wrong?

In the same way I attach a photograph of a 35W radio, I have another radio that is a Trimble HPB450 Radio.
