From the link, I now understand why Geezer feels a connection to these teeny creatures.
"Tardigrades (also known as waterbears or moss piglets)are water-dwelling, segmented micro-animals, with eight legs. They were first discovered by the German pastor Johann August Ephraim Goeze in 1773."
Herr Goeze must have had excellent eyesight to notice something that is less than 0.06 inches (!!!) in length.
