I have a couple of SECO Thumb Release Bipods that need some repair parts. With great skill and effort I have managed to loose the parts breakdown that identifies the individual item and part numbers BUT I need new cones and new threaded rods.

Where can I find them? I went on the SECO Site and I cannot find repair parts listed.

My advice would be to buy new pods similar to the ones you have and use your old parts for future repairs.

That would get you up and running saving repair time and probably spend not much more than the cost of a number of individual new parts.

I have had great luck in calling Hayes Instrument, and talking to the repair guys, they usually have the part I need off an old range pole or bipod they got from a trade in, or any Seco dealer should be able to order the part.?ÿ ?ÿ

I have got Troy Deaton with Deaton's Geotronics in Hillsboro, TN 931-614-0784?ÿ to Rehab my poles.?ÿ I brought them up while getting some equipment calibrated and his brother fixed all of them while I was there.?ÿ In all fairness, though, Hayes Instrument Co in Shelbyville, TN, has done the same thing, but it was Troy's brother that did the work while they were still with Hayes.?ÿ It would cost for the shipping unless you were going there anyway as I was, so you would need to consider that.?ÿ
