It's a 200c running TDS.
Thank you!
Nate
Fill it with water, then pour the water into a graduated cylinder, of course!
I had the same thought but restrained myself from posting it.:-P
I've witnessed this before.
They used what looked like 1/2 BB sized plastic pellets and gently vibrated the unit to fill up the air spaces. Then they poured the pellets out into a beaker.
I imagine that a few hung in there. Being plastic they should not interfere with operation.
B-)
I believe this document "TDS Ranger – OS and FAQ Bulletin" from http://www.tdsway.com/ may be of some help. Scroll down to the bottom of the document.
Thanks guys! (some of you are all wet) but I think I found I have lots of room....
Nate
That was what I needed, Dallas. Thanks. Nate
If you look at the sticker on the back where the serial number is, the system ram card capacity is a part of the model number, as in 200C-32 (for 32 Mb), or 200C-128 for example. One of the models in the 200C series had 512 Mb card in them.
The memory card is actually just a compact flash card that fits in a socket on the board. If you ever have to have a significant repair done on the unit you might purchase a one or two Gb flash card and ask the technician to install it for you. Then you'd have enough memory to encourage all sorts of untidy data retention habits.
:good: The new company wants to retain 1-100 for control. I have a hard time doing that after so many years working with an HP48.
