Look what I found while browsing the St. Louis Cardinals Facebook page... 😀

I think it's in a few of their photos, actually...

I wonder what that is? Some sort of grading level (lazer)? In the first photo that came up, it almost looked like a portable radio. 😛

It is a laser level as mentioned.
Two English Premier soccer teams are flying over the pond to play 2 exhibition matches – Chelsea FC and Manchester City.
They play on Thursday night at Busch stadium and at Yankee stadium on Sat. night. So they must eliminate the pitcher’s mound. It almost looked like Jerry:-) Penry was digging there for a stone.
St. Louis has a very strong history in soccer by the Italian immigrants from the “Hill” district. Yogi Berra was said to have been a very good soccer player as a youth.
News today is that the NY Yankees will co-own a major league soccer team with Manchester City in NY.
Another baseball- soccer connection is that John Henry, owner of the red sox, also is the owner of Liverpool FC in England. There have been some exhibitions at Fenway Park in the past few years.
Chelsea FC is owned by the Russian multi- billionaire Roman Abramovich who is also the owner of the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA.
This time of year, my son and I usually take a soccer road trip to see a game. Last year it was to Jacksonville to see USA vs Scotland and the year before it was road trip to Chicago to see A.C.. Milan of Italy play the Chicago Fire.
This year, he has a regional tournament on June 15/16 and his team is training.

But there is a exhibition soccergame in Chicago on July 4th weekend that looks inviting at Soldiers Filed.

Hmmm....-tangent

Speaking of Scottish football....

My avatar:
Tommy Adams was a Scottish footballer best known for his time at East Fife. Adams signed for East Fife in 1935 from Neilston Victoria. He was a member of the 1938 Scottish Cup winning side and also won the Scottish League Cup in 1947. Adams also played for Greenock Morton and Forfar Athletic. (from Wikipedia)

But I doubt you got to see him play...:-P

Strange that laser-level wasn't green. What is Leica thinking? That was my guess on what it was, but it looked awfully funny.

My Scottish ancestors sailed to NYC from Greenock in the 1850s.

Just to be clear, I found the picture on line, and the guy had my same name. I'm not Scottish nor am I related to him. I just thought it was kind of a cool avatar to use.
