I have a few rinex files that I need to get some opus solutions on but I keep getting errors when I submit my data.

I have never worked with rinex files before and am not sure how to edit the file to be compatible with opus.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Matt

send me an email if you can help me out.

Matt,

You should not have to edit the rinex files to submit them to OPUS. Your software should convert them straight into a rinex files that is acceptable to OPUS.

Make sure you are uploading the *.O file, and not the *.N file.

Make sure if that if your data is less than two hours, you submit to OPUS-RS, and if longer than two hours, submit to OPUS.

Good luck.

Thank you!

Thank you for the responses, but the data I have is unusable due to short observation times and heavily wooded terrain.

Thank you again!

Matt

Here is a link to a site which gives tips on how to remove the S/N errors from a Rinex file in order to "force" it to process through OPUS.

After processing an error filled file, I'd be sure to make some type of independent check on the point(s) involved to confirm their precision.

Send Them To Me Matt

Send me your RINEX '"o" and "n" files and I'll take a look at what you have.

I'll edit them if I can and then let you know what I did and why.

I will also process them myself.

Paul in PA
