I need to map asphalt pathways inside the parcel that's about 30 acres. I'd like to walk the edge of the pavement and set the dc to auto collect by distance interval. Any ideas how to mount the gps pole on the wheel without too much effort? I was thinking to utilize the Lufkin measuring wheel...any other ideas?

I think SECO make a wheel specifically for that.

If you do get one, I suggest you get somebody to ask you the question "Have you lost your dog?" or similar 50 times, so that you become immune to it and won't flip out on site when Joe and Joan Public ask you that for the fifth time.

I would bungie it to a golf cart. You can find those in working order dirt cheap. Much more stable than a single wheel. Probably cheaper too. And you can strap a cooler on it?

I made one from the front of an old bicycle that works really well.?ÿ Perfect for semi-rough terrain.

Posted a picture here, but I can't figure out how to search for it.
