So.....you see those little Photo Icons in Google Earth...and you click on them and the photo posp up? I would like to take my GeoRef'd photos and see them in my Google Earth. It would be very helpful for projects. Is there a way to do this without having to download a seperate software such as Picasa? I did insert an image in the correct area...but it is the ACTUAL image overlayed and covers up most of my site. How can I get that little Photo Icon so I can see where it is...and click on it to open the photo> Help!

Ok. Nevermind. Turns out that the way i did it is the correct way...but you have to be zoomed in to the altitude that you want the photo to become visible at. First time i did it i was zoomed out to 200 or 300 feet and image was covering my site. False Alarm!

I did this by adding placemarks for jobs in google earth. I put a little bit of html code in the "Description" portion of the placemark so that a photo of the site will pop up when I click on it.

The code should look something like this: <img src="""filename and path">

I hope that helps.:-)
