Dealing with one call and phone Co. Phone company wants to get easements, I say, yeah just go out and mark your line and we will locate them and write the easements. Telephone Co. says to call one call.

Really, you want me to call one call?

OK, now they want maps for one call.

One the phone trying to explain these locations, sectional sized areas, not near town, roads, no address, only STR.

So is the locater for the phone CO. going to come and get maps from me?

When they just sent maps of what they want, guess I can just scan and hand them back the maps they sent me.

Been at for a couple of hours now trying to set up locates, Oh well, all pays the same:-(

I feel your pain! I have a locater and am capable of doing most of my own locates (which is a better feeling), but to jump thru the hoops to make it legal, SHEESH! Best way to get the phone company in Nome to come out and run locates is to start digging close to it, they're right there right now! I use the "Call before you dig" number to get locates for the FAA on airport property and they call me! Love all that red tape BS

It's just weird, I've done hundreds of miles of these same type of easements, usually with the gas company, or an electrical company.

They call me and I say have your guys mark the line and we go out and locate the marks. But this time they want me to set it all up through one call....maybe they hire out everything now and I have to do that end of it too.......

And telling one call about the first line that is in three townships with offset section lines along a standard parallel took fooooooor evvvvvver.
