This first pic shows my base station, from last night. What you are seeing is a ZAREBA fence charger, sitting on a rebar, (which gives it a ground) and a 50 AH SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) base battery, with 3 flat connectors. Then, some 3 foot long fiberglass electric fence posts, driven in, with that hybrid plastic, with stainless steel wire imbedded in it, around the enclosure. The fence charger is powered by the base battery. The radio is a a Javad product, on an old bent prism pole. Here, I drove a steel fencepost in the ground, and bungied the pole to it.
All in all, this makes a pretty good base. The base itself is a Javad T2. It bluetooths to the radio.
This next pic is taken at 180å¡ from the base setup. Just a grand sunset. Only Jesus could do that fine art!
Happy Friday to all.

I smell chickens....
I have a couple of those fence chargers. I haven't used them in quite a few years, but they worked great when I needed them to protect unattended static setups from livestock.
That configuration ain't worth a hoot against a thundering herd of chickens as they make their escape from captivity.;-)
Mr Cow, so far, we have not had a "Thundering herd of chickens". Although I do realize, that the banter between eating cows, and chickens, and the Chick-Fil-A thing could be a motivation of concern.
I am a beef eater myself. Go to Chicken store, and eat a cow. MM good!
Or, you can go to McDonalds, and get a Chicken sammich.
I always make a big pot o' chili for the office right before Thanksgiving holiday. It's called my "3 meat chili". And then right after grace and everybody is grabbing for corn bread, I tell them there is NO CHICKEN in my "3 meat chili". Which leaves everyone to wonder what the "third" meat is really...
Some interesting tasting going on....
