I really hate hijacking someones thread, just ain't right I tell ya!
Email from Mike at MLA requesting phone # etc. I'll give Arnold Golodoff a call, don't know if you've been to Atka since we remodeled the old store into a crew crib. Not sure how well the truck and/or Honda are running, but Arnold said he was on it .... Atka time I'm sure! The City office # is (907)839-2233, fax is 2234. I had a stash of lath, flagging and rebar in the old store, plus there's a tripod or two with a level and rod....
I gave Mike a disc with both the 2008 Sewer ASB and the 2010 water treatment plant plan sets in ACAD, I imagine he is getting that info to you.
Call me anytime.

Hoping to get job done and fly out on the Tuesday service but yeah...its the chain...so that will never happen.

Daryl, looks like you guys are stuck for a bit: 35-45 mph, gusts to 85! Apparently the camp froze up, Arnold is checking it out, told John to top off the tank before he left! Truck is waiting parts, Hondas (think we have 2 now) are stashed in a connex. My cell is 907-229-7024.

Hiya JD...
I'm in Dutch Harbor now...had to leave my crew in Akutan because an extra project came in there...so running solo...I see the weather has gone down hill big time...Blizzard/hurricane conditions...so I may not make it out there on Thursday afterall... Be hanging out at the Dutch airport I suppose tomorrow on standby
Enjoy the buffet.
The scope of that new job back on Akutan keeps growing. Essentially, we're now designing 4 miles of road up and over that saddle at the end of the valley.
Daryl ...
No word yet from Arnold as to the damage to the camp, you might want to stay at the inn (running water et al!) Also, the Corp hasn't signed off on the land thing yet, going to call Mark Snigaroff in the a.m. to get the verbal. Lloyd's in St. Mary's and he was SUPPOSED to have that handled. He seemed surprised that you guys were already to head to Atka .... engineers, SIGH! From the looks of the weather, you may be enjoying libations at the Grand!
Later..
