It looks like they have weights on them. Is it that windy there?
hi
yes they are weights, it was very windy, the hill had 70 deg slope, it was even worse setting up the level on the side of it doing a level run, i dont like trig levelling, just old fashion I guess.
they had a long long backroad through the adjacent golf course as a temp construction road, but running up the hill was faster.
i used to sit up there and eat my lunch sometimes
the panels were made in a precast yard 2 miles away, they had a steel re bar bending shed as well, 112 panels per building, first floor and second floor.
its natadola bay resort, see it on google, expensive to stay there.
Interesting situation Fiji. The two cultures- Fijians would like the Indians to leave but the place would crash w. out them. Then again, the native culture would be overrun by immigrant Indians if Fijians didn't exercise restrictions.
Fortunately in Fiji they don't masticate the kava. yech!
bula bula.
correct, if you walk down the street, the indian will be outside hawking and enticing you to come into the shop, whereas the fijian will be asleep under the counter, if someomne comes in ok, if not, thats ok as well.
again invaders from other countries, it is all over the world, the british bought the indians to fiji to grow sugar cane, the result is evident.I spent years working on aboriginal reserves in the outback, thats a sad history and situation as well.
