Has anyone else been having problems getting firmettes lately? I have been trying to download a firmette from FEMA map service center and keep getting the same standard web page error.
Must be my computer...went to another and it worked fine. I need to compare my settings with the other one.
I just tried it. It acted funny with the pdf option on the first couple of tries then I switched to the image option and it worked fine. Then I went back and tried the pdf again and it worked as well.
You might try clearing your cache on your browser or switch to a different browser if you have more than one installed. I'm using Firefox version 4.0.1. but I sometimes revert back to IE when a site gives me trouble just to see if the problem is with the site or with me.
Here's what I've found...
sometimes they only work with IE...
sometimes they only work with Chrome...
sometimes they only work with Firefox...

As above, I have found the same thing.
It could be that it depends upon which updates of IE, Firefox, etc., have been installed, or what plug-ins are present.
