a Carlson sheet for 2018 or what version? if you don't mind me asking... luckily between this site, you tube, and a lot of searching I think I'm getting close.

Your output file when finished is an XML using the Civil3D style sheet. You can then process the linework into C3D through the survey database.

Hey thanks... You said it correctly... But I have not yet found instructions that tell me I needed a style sheet... HAHA... Yes you have me on the right track... My company also bought Leica Infinity which frustrates the issue... Thanks for the help

Yes that's exactly the problem. Im understanding that I should've been using a style sheet. They need to put that into the literature somewhere..HAHA...

you want them in a csv (text file)? try this one, it can be modified to give the exact output you need.
need to change the file extension to .XSL and put it in the CONVERT folder in the internal memory of the controller.

then you can use it to export > stylesheet

if you get a HeXML version error then line 5 needs changing

credit and many thanks to Spally

They need more than that, there are many people looking for string number output, raw observation (angles and distances) output etc;
I hadn't noticed the stakeout ones though. They could be handy with modification.

They're okay if you want to be able to provide a rudimentary cut sheet before you walk off the job site. I much prefer the point staking report from Infinity though. Cleaner, with our logo, and I've had a chance to review it before it goes out.

Right squowse... The Civil3D stylesheet works... another one I found online produces an Ascii with the line coding... which is great but does not give me the observations... I appreciate all the help... Those specific styles were resident on the CS20 when I bought it new... I couldn't find them on Leica myworld.. Could you send a link to it?

Go to My Applications>My Products>Click your CS20>Click the Software tab>last 2 downloads in the Offline Software Update section at the top.

Civil3D should be good for you, I have also been given a 12D model one but not tried it out, we just used CSV. Where did you find the ASCII one online? I did a hatchet job on a Leica one to get raw obs. It's not been tested.

I am making a repository of stylesheets for Leica Captivate export. If anyone has any they are willing to share with the general public please email me or upload here.
If uploading here you will need to change the file extension to ".txt".
