I hope so, I know that these jiggas are old tech but there is nothing wrong with them. They are just a capable of doing a job then the latest Ts16s.?ÿ

Right now I pretty much have a paperweight lol as I donƒ??t use Leica propriety software and donƒ??t plan on switching to it.?ÿ

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the one I use. Maybe someone else can be more help. Mine has the geocom on it and communicates perfectly with fieldgenius on a windows 10 tablet.?ÿ

Funny thing is that MircorSurvey and Leica are both owned by Hexagon.

Another funny thing about GeoCom and the 1200 series is that at one point it cost $1 at time of purchase.?ÿ I have a 1203, that I think needs new servos, which came with it.?ÿ I have one of the first 1201 sold in the US and it did not come with it.?ÿ I had to pay cough up the $1K a couple of years ago to get it after the fact.

@john-putnam I am curious, what software are using with Leica 1201. I got one recently and can not get it to connect to paranoia sd1000 to talk to my survey pc from carlson.

?ÿ

@mii?ÿ

I used fieldgenius with a Leica 1203+ with Paranis. I probably can't help you get it working because that was over a year ago but I used Carlson's instructions for their version of the tps1200 to make it work. Can't see why Carlson wouldn't work.?ÿ

@350rocketmike There's conflicting evidence that the Parani Bluetooth connection works without the Geocom. I've heard that it a) won't work, b) it will work but just not with Robotics, and c) that it will work, full robotics and no Geocom. I'm hoping the answer is "c" 😉 .
