I'm always looking for relatable examples that help me understand the concept of various types of easements. Here's a current example that shows the concept of appurtenance (goes with the land) and also shows that the easement is the dominant estate (even though the parent parcel simply wishes it would go away).

I'm sure there a lots of other good examples - this one just showed up recently so I thought I'd share this teachable title moment.

Great example. We would probably keep large roomfuls of old surveyors from nodding off if we would fill our convention agendas with pertinent examples like you've shown.
