That is the date that is on my license from the State of Texas. Wow how time flies.
You and I were in the same test.
Happy Anniversary.

My first July 14, 1975!
Congrats!
I just looked, and my first license, Tennessee, is dated January 30, 2001. My exam was October 2000. I was 27 years old.
Arkansas was October 29, 2001, Mississippi was May 15, 2002, and Missouri was June 20, 2013.
Time sure does fly.

I passed the SIT in April of 2000 at the ripe old age of 22 and was 25 when I got my license. The whole multiple state thing is beyond me. I thought about one in Louisiana, but they told me I needed 12 more hours of college on top of my 100+ hours and three degrees. I went fishing instead. 🙂

The dates are kinda silly. My SIT is dated the day of that test, but my license is dated the day the board met and canvassed the test.
11 is coming up for you pretty quick. You have the distinction of being in the LAST rodeo without the 4 year degree. I was second to last. 🙂

Happy Anniversary to you as well. 🙂

Then Happy 11th anniversary my friend!!! 🙂
Interesting.
I passed the SIT in April of 2000 also.
I thought I was the youngest one to pass the RPLS in December 2002 at the age of 27.
Hard to believe that we still have a little less than 20 years to go to get to the average age of a RPLS in Texas (56 year old).

And the first time I saw you you were about 4
Before they switched to the SIT program and started using the NCEE for part of the test, the Licenses were dated the day of the Test.

And still enjoying the field work !

I bow to one who is senior to me!:stakeout:
BTW - have you made any attempt to figure out where the survey was that I sent you the article about?
Kris,
The Multiple state licenses is just based upon where I live. I can be in the three other states I am licensed in in an hour or so. I live about 30 miles north of Memphis, so Arkansas and Mississippi are less than an hour away. Missouri is about an hour and 20 minutes away.
When I worked for a larger engineering firm in Memphis, it was common for us to work just over the line all the time. It happens a lot less now that I am working for myself.
