I have attached two PDFs. The first is a sketch of an 1804 deed. The second is the same deed but rotated to 2017, based on the declination for the geographic location of the deed.
I will appreciate being informed of mistakes, or confirmation of my rotation.
Thanks
I took a quick look at it and found no problem.
As the compass turns over the centuries we read larger NE and SW, smaller NW and SE in the bearings. Sometimes the simplest things like signs are the hardest - I have to think three times about which way to move things and hope I get the same answer more than twice.
I didn't do a closure. To be careful, you should probably run the closure on each plot to see you get the same closing leg distance.

I drew the deed in cad, with north straight up. Then I drew the magnetic arrow, straight up. Then drew two lines that correspond to the deflection in 1804 and 2017, and rotated the entire drawing so the deed and 2017 deflection were straight up. I used a list routine from cad to check the bearings.
