I thought it was going to be called THVD 2013 (Tim Horton's Vertical Datum)
Jim-
As fate would have it Tim was a client of my late uncle C.W. Gibson OLS.
He was a fine person you would want to be related too.
He thought more of others than himself.
One Friday, when we got our pay cheque, the field assistants (including YOS) ran to the Royal Bank at Sheppard and Yonge to get them cashed.
Tim was ahead of us all in the line to the teller's cage but recognised us.
"Go ahead" were his words (and we did, thanking him).
My uncle, CW (and his lowly nephew, moi) surveyed the second Tim Horton outlet which was in Oakville, about 30 miles (40 minutes) away.
It shared a common property corner with a local surveyor but we did the work as he was loyal to those who helped him no matter the extra cost.
Unfortunately, he ran into the pressures of celebritydom and a partner who I was glad not to know.
