My correspondent in the Black Hills area has just informed me that the Center of the Nation monument in Belle Fourche, SD, is currently under water. It is not immediately clear what this means other than there is some flooding going on there. No one is making any correlation to the upcoming October 21, 2011, new end of the world date at this time.
