i have a few locations i survey that have limited cellular service so I am looking into getting a cell range booster and am curious if anyone has found one that could work within ?ÿa radius of the truck so I can avoid setting up a base station every time I need to go take a quick shot here and there.

I would love to hear everyone's input on this also. I use a Leica GS15/CS15 combo with my phone as a hot spot for VRS.

I have tried rigging up a backpack with a 1) power source (12v lithium battery), 2) weboost drive booster and 3) and a weboost truck (OTR) antenna.?ÿ Honestly, it didn't seem to help with the connection. (Note it did show a boost in cell strength, but did not result in a good enough signal for VRS corrections)

I discovered that by adding a cheap motorcycle phone holder up on the pole and getting the phone away from my body, it helps with signal quite a bit.?ÿ

Our data collector has a sim card so doing the good old hold the pole up until you get a lock is my only current solution.?ÿ?ÿ

Currently a co worker and i are looking into intuicom RTK bridge.

I use one of these strapped high on the rod. Seems to help.?ÿ
