I have a SECO GPS Tripod, model 5119. I currently transport it in the backseat of the truck so that the bubble doesn't get knocked out. I would really like to move this beast to the back of the truck. But I need some protection for it. Does anyone know of a case or padded bag that will work for this tripod? I am searching the internet, but haven't found anything yet.

I don't think this is padded but it's made for that tripod and offers protection; it's what I used when in sales / support and my tripods always looked like new.

I've also seen people ship them in gun cases.

There are padded cases made for shipping golf club bags that may work if long enough.

I always thought the jumbo pool noodles would work. Slice then down the middle and put the bubble to the inside.

Jones, Dang, you conducted some industrial espionage on me.
I sold 4 of these tripod online a few years ago. I had a few boxes and got a few from a golf store.
Lined the boxes with pool noodles from the Dollar Stores. Bought 5 this week to ship something.
You can trim them easily.
So one can get a PVC pipe cut to length, line it with noodles and probably can add a carry strap with no problem.

I think I sold one of the Sokkia fixed height tripods to @spledeus back then.

I have 6 of the 2-meter tripods, and have always carried them in the SECO bags in the back of my truck. Some of them are over 15 years old, and bubble adjustment has never been a problem.

The bubbles are pretty well protected when the legs are folded in.

One of the variables is the type of roads or off road driving is done for the level of protection needed due to bumps, vibrations etc.
If your on rock trails or the streets of New Orleans, then a some type of care should be taken. ; > )

I use the Pelican iM3220 case to transport my tripod, gps poles and bi-pod when I travel inter-island.
