Here's the situation: I ran a traverse with Carlson SurvCE. When I download the data into LISCAD (that's what we use), I noticed the coordinates are different in my Carlson compared to the coordinates generated by LISCAD. When I plot both sets of coordinates, LISCAD is plotting the coordinates northerly of my Carlson coords, and the error is compounding as I go north. I completed a 4000 foot traverse and I have a difference in coords of 0.5 ft at the end of the traverse.
I have looked into prism offset constants, grid-to-ground, and I am currrently stumped at this point. Any help appreciated.
I think there is a "default" scale factor in the setup, might want to check that, look in the config menu. Have never had an issue with LisCAD producing bad data WHEN everything is set correctly.
