Wondering how OPUS can include a CORS station when the station is down during the time period of the observation.?ÿ This observation was months ago, and come to find that when specifically including BCRK I can force OPUS to use a station that has no data.?ÿ I checked both Data Availability and the UFCORS for BCRK and came up blank.?ÿ How can OPUS use a station in its solution??ÿ BTW, BCRK is in Canada.

What is in the report (preferably the extended one)? Does it list BCRK and give no position for your poinr calculated from BCRK, or what?

@bill93?ÿ

Here attached is the extended output where I forced OPUS to include BCRK. CORS map currently shows it not reporting.

?ÿI have to admit, I need more schooling on the Extended output that NGS provides.?ÿ?ÿ

I don't know how to interpret everything in the output, but this sure looks like it had good data from BCRK

I may be nuts, but I have seen OPUS Static Solutions that include CORS that don't seem to have data available via the NGS CORS web page (usually Stations outside of the US). I'm have no idea how this all works, but it appears that OPUS has access to IGS and other sites that don't necessarily show up on the NGS CORS site, but you may (or may not) be able to get this data from the IGS or other sources.?ÿ I know that UNAVCO (Plate Boundary Observatory) data is available for MANY stations not in the usual NGS CORS Network, so I assume that goes for other "networks" as well.

OR, I'm just having a senior moment,

Loyal?ÿ

Data is available for the BCRK site as seen in the extract from your ƒ??extended outputƒ? file. The image shows the number of observations to individual satellites from each receiver site. ?ÿBCRK numbers seem consistent with the other two sites shown on the image.

I do know that the NCORS group attempts to retrieve missing data, I do not know why the data availability plots were not evidently corrected.

Thanks to all of you for the response.

I have seen this before with another Canadian station - ATLI, and wondered about this phenomena.?ÿ This removes a little of the mystery of OPUS for me and I really appreciate the replies.?ÿ ?ÿI'll remember to use the extended output more when this arises again.!
