Calrson Surv Ce

Version

Carlson SurvCE Ver 2.55.10

Hello all

We slope stake of straight segments polygon shapes that are
say shaped like a T. Thus there are more than one station solution to the station on the inside corner of theT above.

Autocad C3D has little issue with the grading of a inside corner ie slope staking

Would any one like to share the tricks/defeat the traditional alignment staking
in using Carlson to allow it to slope stake a T shaped building
where there are more than one station solution.

The purpose of the slope staking is to set the toe of a sand preload.

Stake station interval toggle will set you to the correct station
but the soft will still find to station to the opposite side of the
building/shape etc.

We have in the past broken the polyline shape into non
ambiguous segments. but that means many picks to stake the broken up
3D polyline.

On some complicated 3 d poly lines we send from Autocad C3D 2013 the 3D poly to the DC versus creating in the DC alignment's profiles and templates that Surv Ce cannot create anyways.

It would be a nice feature in Surve CE to limit work to the segment / station range you want without having to
break up the 50 element 3D polyline for the toe of a blast face for example.

Any cleaver work arounds would be appreciated

Thanks Again
Peter K
