Timberland!

I love Timberland hiking boots! I've had about 8 pairs of them over the years and get about two years of use out of them. I extremely hard on a pair of boots and these seem like they were made for my foot, with absolutely NO break in time.

They have multiple models of them on amazon.com

But, I have been purchasing them at academy sporting good, also!

Try them out.

Thought I might not like them because of the laces but they have become my most favorite Redwings to date.

Warm and dry. Tread pattern is awesome on rough terrain. Ankle support is a plus.

When I lived in Florida, it was Timberland Pros always, they lasted forever and were comfortable. When I moved to Pittsburgh two years ago, I got a pair of Redwings. The steel toe 8" loggers. I don't remember the model number. They were comfortable, but after working in wet conditions for a few months, the sole on one of them started to come off. Redwing resoled them for me and stitched a leather piece in the back of each one as the lining started to come out of them as well. Later I started doing a lot of railroad work and now I work for a railroad. Walking on the ballast seems to destroy the soles of whatever boots I wear. It seems to shred the rubber. Shredded the Redwings, now I have a pair of Carolinas that I just had resoled. They are very comfortable, that's the only reason I had them resoled. There was no breakin period with them.

Used to wear Doc Martens all the time. Just switched to Carolina and I really like them. They are tough on the hard road but great in the woods and grass. No break-in: Felt great at the store and still do.
