unfortunate news/email from MD society of surveyors:
Good morning, Mike and Bill. Wayne here. Bob Angle was injured on a construction site yesterday while surveying. As I understand it so far from his wife Debbie, Bob was getting shots along a loading dock behind a trailer which was detached from its tractor. A piece of construction equipment moved the trailer back several feet and pinned Bob against the loading dock, breaking several bones in his pelvis, bruising his bladder and causing some internal bleeding. He was pinned for a length of time. When medical assistance arrived, Bob was unconscious. He was flown to the hospital in York, PA, where the doctors operated to determine the extent of the internal bleeding and damage. He was in Intensive Care last night, and is expected to be in the hospital at least until Christmas Day.
Please pray (to God) for Bob's complete healing and the recovery of this good man. More details later.
Godspeed and I hope he can say that he was one of the lucky ones who survive these kind of accidents.
Prayers here from West TN.
A friend of mine suffered a similar accident years ago, except he was pinned between a backhoe and service truck. He is fine now, but it was a long recovery.

For Bob...Praying for a swift healing and recovery!! :plumbbob:
Doing my best.
These type of accidents happen far too often no matter how many safety classes are held.
