I'm trying to get these two things to talk to each other.
We did it with this same Ranger and another TS06, which unfortunately is out of state. I remember it being a hassle, and thinking that we'd keep those two as a pair, but it didn't happen.
I can get the Ranger to recognise the instrument, and I enter the pass key, 0000, and that triggers the instrument to ask me if I want to allow the connection. I press Yes, and the instrument eventually says that the Bluetooth connection is lost.
Anyone know the trick to this?

Aloha, John:
Try the last four digits of the gun's serial number for password. It might work...
If you are running Trimble Software on the TSC3 I doubt it will work. Survey Pro, maybe. Remember Trimble and Leica hate each other.
Survey Pro will always give that error on the initial pairing. After, the error, though you should see the Bluetooth symbol at the sightseeing the TS06 screen showing that it is connected. 0000 is the default PIN number. I wouldn't change it as I have ha issues with other PIN numbers.
One thing I like to do when using Spectras data collectors is to pair the Bluetooth outside of their Survey Pro software; in Windows. For some odd reason it makes he connection stronger. Not sure why yet. But,I've done a ton of these and it always works better.
Hello, please an update
So can this be done?
Thank you
