This is a real Gem, I'd apply if i wasn't negotiating and closing a new opportunity:

Ideal candidates should have a passion for the outdoors.
But also, the ideal candidate will have two plus years working in the capacity of a crew chief, working solo. And, should have a full understanding and knowledge with surveyors stuff; such as shovels, pin finders, data collectors, instruments, software, total stations, etc. etc. etc.

Don't you need more than one person to constitute a "crew"?
We bill "one man crew" all the time though it's not ideal, from a safety standpoint, when conditions aren't favorable.

The TV show, 911,?ÿ had a great example of the hazards of a one-man crew last night.?ÿ Chain saw kicked back into his neck.
@squirl?ÿ
Thanks!?ÿ It was a frontrunner till i picked the wrong one, and called me the same day everything was falling apart.?ÿ That true universe serendipity I tell ya!
Sounds like real work. That ad may only get surveyors.
"Closing new opportunities." I seem to do that too often.
When the applicant is totally wrong, they may have been looking for a Party Chef job.
I particularly liked the Stuff comment.?ÿ Surveyors definitely have lots of Stuff.?ÿ ??? ?????ÿ
Works too.?ÿ I trained as a Saucier in one of my former careers.?ÿ Party Chef would be ok, as a hobby now though. ????

@squirl My "one-man crew" is pretty much only willing to work alone, and I believe part of this is out of concern for his own safety. It's hard to find competent help (these days?? around here?? maybe it's always been like this), I think he would prefer to only have to watch after himself. He doesn't even take his own son out in the field anymore ?????ÿ
