A while ago I posted about being laid off.
Well the good news is that, as of today, I'm back.
I've accepted a field position in the local office of one of NZ's better surveying firms. Its largely earthquake rebuild work - a nice mix of topo and site surveys, some setout, cadastral and contract/project work.
Not making as much money as I was, but I do get to play outside 🙂
Probably the biggest issue is that the chap I was supposed to be working with was injured in a car accident last week and will be off work for a while (Get well soon Cory) so I'm going to have to step-up very quickly. Well I dd say that I like a challenge...
