Iƒ??m looking for link for cadastral/ownership in AZ. Iƒ??m trying to find a couple and have a few potential addresses I want to verify. They own property in MT and I need to get a hold of them.
TIA

This may help:?ÿ http://gis.azland.gov/webapps/parcel/?loc=-109.0134,32.6857,6&layers=3,1,0

If you have addresses, perhaps the county GIS where those addresses are located could help. Most (many?) allow you to find property by owner name and the name doesn't have to be complete. For example, if you know the wife's name and the property is jointly owned, then these systems can find the property and you can verify the names.

Of course, you knew all that, but I've used variants to find long-lost people all over the US.

Good luck!

@mathteacher thank you, between your link and the county assessor site I was able to get it down a very logical conclusion.

whitepages.com can come in very handy, as well.?ÿ It helps if the name is relatively uncommon, of course.?ÿ Several other websites are available with differing levels of benefit, unless you wish to pay them a fee, which I never do.

Nearly 20 years ago I went searching for a fellow who owned some land locally.?ÿ I probably put in 50 times the effort then that it would take today to make the same search.?ÿ Found him.?ÿ He had moved three or four times since the address the County had listed for him, though.?ÿ He wasn't paying his property taxes because the annual notices were not being forwarded to him.

Those address and phone lookups have gotten a lot stingier in the last few years with what information they give for free.?ÿ I used to be able to learn a lot about address, land line phone if any, and relatives, but now am lucky to get an address.

What really annoys me is that some of them keep leading you on and stalling while they "search" for many seconds several times, for what I'm sure their server could produce in one second if they wanted to. Then they tell you you have to pay to get any of it.

@bill93

Avoid those for sure.?ÿ That's why I start with whitepages.?ÿ I have done searches that started by going to findagrave.com if I am certain a close relative of the party I am seeking has passed away within the past couple of years.?ÿ Quite frequently a link will be provided to the obituary for the deceased which frequently mentions the hometowns of certain relatives.?ÿ At least then you know to search for a certain city along with the name of whomever you are seeking. Creativity in one's thinking can be quite helpful............sometimes, but, definitely not always.
