Specifically a Z-FX surveyor. Once upon a time I had sent one to Texas (some place)& I am now looking here to see if somebody can steer me to that (or another) repair facility. I realize that the unit (& I ) are both "end of useful life" but call me semimetal.
Thanks,
Bob in NH

> No food from that bull!

Only from his offspring.

Even his testicles wouldn't make good "Mountain Oysters".

Maybe that's what you meant to say.

Semimental?

He's going to get fully-mental if someone doesn't actually answer his question, instead of making fun of one typo....;-)

(P.S. I don't know where to go to get Ashtech repair.)

You are right about that!

He is way too old for Rocky Mountain Oysters.

Bob,
The Ashtech repair center used to be in TX. I have also sent units there, long time ago, but don't have any anymore. Maybe somebody can help you. Surely there is somebody out there that works on these. You might start with a google search and see what turns up. You also might look in the ads in American Surveyor, Professional Surveyor, or POB magazines. I didn't find an address or contact in TX, wish I could help.

Back again, glad you-all had some fun with the post. I was laughing along myself.
Back to the point, I am contacting Pete: see below

Hi Bob;

We work on Z-FXs all the time. There is not much that we can’t fix. We also have quite a few accessories for this product including memory cards, batteries and chargers, antennas and cables.

Please let me know if you have any questions and please let me know what I can do to help you out.

Thanks,

Peter Wilkiewicz

Can you repair a Thales ProMark 3 that starts up but refuses to see any satellites?
