Some yrs ago, there was an article in a survey magazine. It was a story about retracing a couple of sections in California. The surveyor did a huge load of work, and finished the job. Turned in the plat to county survey, for approval.
And...
That's when the fun began.?ÿ
There was corrective survey, and the performing surveyor did not know it. He had re-traced the survey that had been superseded. He had to re-do all his work.?ÿ
Anybody remember this story? It sure impacted me, and my philosophy of surveying.?ÿ
I'd sure like to find it.
Thank you
