Long ago on a board that now accumulates cobwebs there was a regular contributor who apparently worked full time at a huge sanitary landfill. I believe it was in Chautauqua County, New York. I can't remember his name, but he was a great poster. Should anyone know him, please invite him to join us here at the most active surveyor's board in the universe.
Mike/Michael Hilliker? It appears he's self-employed now according to LinkedIn.
By golly, I think you found him. That sounds right.
Maybe someone in New York can contact him.
My Google-Fu is strong today |-)
Yeah, that probably would be Mike.
I thought he lived in Buffalo or Albany but he definitely did work at a county landfill until retiring almost 10 years ago. After that he was consulting with them.
I have a cell # for him if you want. I haven't talked to him in a loooong time so I don't know if it's still good.

I don't have a cell phone to send invites nor was I sure that LinkedIn profile was really him.
So I just called the last number I have.
Well, I can do you one better than that!!!!
I just talked with him for the last 30 minutes.
He didn't even know about this place but plans to hookup tomorrow.
It was a good thing to get in touch with an old friend!!!
I'm glad this thread got started.

don't need no attaboys. I just keep in touch with real friends.
If I can of course.
The man went two states out of his way just to come meet me in person at my house in the NC mountains.
As we say in the South, "that's a good somebody!!"
Big E contacted me last night and asked if my ears were ringing. Told me where to find many of the posters that were on Bob Plumb. I dealing with snow here in WNY so I will start a new thread later to update what has happened to me!
A hearty welcome goes out to Mike Hilliker
Great to know you are still around. Please jump in when you can. You have some great experiences to share with us. (Don't tell anybody but I was Hole Digger in my shady past)
A hearty welcome goes out to Mike Hilliker
Last night he was dealing with a ton snow.
I just heard on the radio they may end up dealing with near about 6 [six] feet.
Too early for that.
Ask him about his wood working shop.
(told ya I knew exactly who you were talking about)
Small world isn't it "Digger"?
