Met with the client today, looks like there HAS been an issue.........with you guessed it the GIS..............................
The GIS has someone else owning the actual cabin that has been occupied by my clients and predecessors since the 20's.
So the actual landowners have been under pressure because of that.
The land the GIS shows as being the clients is actually someone else's the GIS is so bad they show 20 acres my client owns and it looks like from all the photos and info I have, that land is completely south of my clients.
Imagine a computer program causing all this chaos when prior to it there was none..........................
So, what's a few million dollars worth of real estate between friends?
As usual, my client is the little guy 🙂
Well, at least you have a chance of getting paid that way. Experience has proven that those with the most money are the hardest to get it from.
