ALTA "Reliance Letter"

I would offer nothing which might renew my potential liabilities on a past survey without also being afforded the opportunity to perform sufficient work to determine what differences in records and field conditions may have occurred since I performed the survey. If they want insurance, they need to be speaking to an insurance broker. If they want a level of assurance, then as a surveyor, I may be able to help them with that if they are willing to recognize and pay for the value of that assurance.
