The first photo was found online, showing current conditions 20 miles west of St. Francis, Kansas. That would place this 7 miles into Colorado. Be sure to look for all objects that might interfere with GPS reception. Probably not the scenery that those hoping to ski the slopes of Colorado envision.
The second photo was taken at my cousin's house less than 10 miles north of Pikes Peak. Only four feet officially recorded, with additional lightly falling.
