Does anyone know the proper way to adjust the Geodesy by Seco Standard Tribrach? The model type is K365. What I thought were the adjustment screws seem to do nothing when trying to adjust the tribrach. I have searched the internet and even tried to call Seco for some sort of instruction manual but only got a customer service answering machine.?ÿ

Work doesn't let us access youtube, go figure. but if its the typical youtube video on how to adjust a tribrach and not one specifically for the model I am talking about it won't be of use. The adjustment screws on this specific model are the star torque screws. I can move the screws all day while its on the adjustment ring and get no adjustment.

Here's a screenshot of the tribrach used in the video, it says there are four adjusting screws on the optical plummet and three on the bubble. The video is good, but has got me confused, although part of that confusion was the difference between the two adjusting gadgets that were demonstrated, which I now have un-confused. The first was just a ring for adjusting the optical plummet, which he demonstrated. The second was in effect a ring with a bubble, used for adjusting the optical plummet and then the tribrach bubble.

They are adjusted practically the same method as any optical plum system with 4 set screws and right angle prism model.

The seco bubble adjustment puck PN# 2002-00 makes this an easy chore.

With the 4 set screw system, when you move one screw a turn one way, turn the opposite screw the same amount the other way.
