How in the world do I get that "back arrow" or the old "up arrow" to appear in this screen again?

I don't understand your question, are you trying to save "2015 BPO Retainer.doc" in a different directory?

Yeah, I think I found a work around. I opened this file in the 2015 folder by double clicking on it from the windows file explorer.

Then I want to "go back up" one chain link so I can "go back down" into the 2016 folders.

My work around is now I will just double click the computer word on the left and navigate that a way.

Thanks for reaching out.

Carry on.

I've been using Word for over a decade, and I had no idea that you could do this.

THANK YOU!

It is a file browser function. I think Windows gained that capability only 3 or 4 years ago. MS is still learning, but most of their effort seems to be directed at trying to lock down the code.

I am on my first week of using Win7Pro 64bit

That was one of my first walls to encounter as most every other version had it typed out as it would have been in DOS

Same old code, new dress pattern

Two weeks ago HughesNet started randomly dropping my downloads like dropped calls and it was creating dual corrupted files on my XPs and they were frozen with the CPUs being maxed out at 100% trying to open them. Took me till a few days ago to discover UNLOCKER.

It took almost an hour to fire HughesNet and get off the phone as they kept trying to get me to agree to pay $100 to their techs to come to my residence and retrieve their equipment. They simply would not take NO for an answer.

DSL finally reached my side of the road, hooray for the upgrade.

[sarcasm]my battle with computers spreads daily........[/sarcasm]
