Question for the smart people, I have a Trimble TSC2 with survey controller 12.50. It connects to WMDC, and then to Data Transfer via Survey Controller on Active Sync....no problems there...but...I have another TSC2 with Acess 2016.02 that connects (finally) to WMDC but Data Transfer and TGO 1.63 doesn't recognize the collector.....is there a special name to connect to the Transfer Utility using Access? Thanks....
You might just need to update the drivers on your computer, have you run TIM lately?
Also, Data Transfer doesn't use the same driver for Access that it does for Survey Controller; you need to create a device using General Survey or General Survey Data Card.

In case you don't have it... use the Online version if you're generally connected to the internet. You won't have those drivers if you've never used TIM to update your PC.
That worked...already had updated TIM, used the General Survey and everything works just fine....Thank you Lee D...you are well versed with Trimble products...thanks again...Ron
