Has anybody tried out this software from Michael McGee, PLS of Santa Barbara CA.
It's basically a best fit analysis tool for two groups of coordinates that represent an ideal and an actual parcel. If you've tried it what did you think?
Thanks;

I remember using?ÿ a dos version of it many years ago. I didn't know it was still available.
I used it yesterday.?ÿ Sometimes, it is the best, quickest way to go.?ÿ Sometimes, it is the wrong tool.?ÿ All depends on the situation.?ÿ It does what is does very well when it is the right tool to use.
edit:
He is still offering it:

I never knew about this. Very cool, thanks
I ordered a seat Friday, you get 6 weeks to try it out. Michael already replied to my email and was quite congenial. I like that he is a full time surveyor in private practice and expect the software to function just as advertised, as Ken said I'm sure that there are plenty of times it won't be the tool for the job but also plenty of times it will be the "perfect/best fit".

So far so good I've run several data sets through Triad and it seems to be working exactly as advertised and has saved probably at least 1/2 hour of "what iffing" on each job. I can see situations where it might not be quite so helpful but those situations would be time consuming regardless. Well worth the investment if you do a lot of this sort of thing. If you decide to give it a try tell Michael I said hi, he's very hands on and even called me directly to ensure that it installed ok and was working for me.

Does the software allow the user to specify an adjustment method?
I looked at the order form and you can "evaluate the software for 6 weeks" Pretty cool.
I think Carlson Survey can do this as well. Its under coordinate file utilities - Coordinate transformation.
