Do any of you have any luck with traversing with this robot? I set up backsights, foresight on a site with cyclone fence and it messes with the lock. I force it by turning off search and aiming by eye on a few locations and it messes with the angles. Is there a method to use it like a conventional instrument without the autolock and auto search? I am using the new carlson surveyor2 with survce 4. Thanks!!

Just turn off ATR and PowerSearch in the SurvCE settings and it will act like a conventional total station. Your distance measurements may still be affected by the fence so monitor them carefully.
