Throwing the towel in on this one.
GTS-255, connected to DC running SurvCE 2.5. When taking shots, the gun starts beeping at a furious rate, waiting for the measurement, and then more when taking them. Almost sounds like Morse code but I know it's not.

I've shut off the two "buzzer" settings in the Gun that are available in the F2 Mode setup screens.

Can't find anything in SurvCE related to the beeping.

It would drive me crazy if I had to listen to that all day in the field.:'(

Any ideas?
