I am using TBC to build an industrial plant and I am having difficulties (more of an annoyance) numbering points the way I'd like to.
Say we have a tank named TK-6805
It is on a square foundation and I am inputting coordinates for each four corner I would name one corner tk6805.1 then 6805.2 ect.
Business Center automatically names the second point 6806.1 and then 6807.1. Is there a possible configuration on how to specify how you'd like it number your points when you have to key in points in this manner? I know on other programs and in the data collectors it will name them accordingly to how I'd like to.
If not can anyone suggest a method of numbering where TBC will fall in order? I have also tried hyphens with no luck.
TBC will assimilate you, resistance is futile.
Possible workaround??
key in your points in an ascii file (or in Excel) and import these points in TBC.
