TL:DR Does Survey Pro have the option of "Generic NMEA" profile for GNSS Instrument Setup?
Disclaimer: I'm not a surveyor, but use the instruments for pipeline construction field bend calculations.
A couple years ago I purchased a Ranger 3 running Survey Pro for my older total station, then upgraded the TS to a Nivo. I won't go into details, but it's increased my accuracy and speed of calculating pipeline bends drastically over the old Abney and theodolite method I used for years.
Always looking for an edge, or advancement (buying out of my own pocket, not company funds) I dipped my toes into centimeter accurate GPS and bought a Reach RS2 Base/Rover for stakeout of ditch after bends are calculated.
I almost always work by myself, and stakeout of ditchline with cuts with the laser enabled Nivo was a huge advancement, but still time consuming. Working with the RS@ Reach View 3 app sped the process up, but was cumbersome transferring data back and forth from the phone app to to the DC, and I can only stake points, not to a line. I've tried various Android apps, but still a little cumbersome.
I went back to the dealer that I bought the TS and DC from and asked if were possible to connect the RS2's to the DC, but was told they weren't supported. As I don't have the GNSS module enabled (no need for it when I bought the DC originally) I can't try...
Earlier this week it was suggested elsewhere that I download a demo of SurvCE and use the "Generic NMEA Profile" to connect to my RS2 rover (SIM card installed in the rover, receiving corrections over NTRIP) and it brought a tear to my eye when I saw "Fix" and was able to take shots and stake to a string line with true centimeter accuracy effortlessly and in 1/10th the time it normally took.
Again, since I don't have the Survey Pro module installed, I can't check myself if it has a similar generic NMEA profile setting, and not interested in blowing the money to turn it on and not have the ability to connect the same way I can with SurvCE.
If it's not possible, I'm ready to pull the trigger and buy SurvCE with the GNSS capabilities and switch back and forth between programs.

This makes me very happy for you. ?ÿA good feeling, indeed. I hope you find the guidance you seek here from someone smarter than me.
