I am using Carlson 2008 embedded Autocad, and was wondering if there is a way to convert single line text into multiline text?
I used to be able to use a lisp routine to accomplish this, but you can't use lisp routines in Carlson.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jimmy
I copy the single line text in the text edit routine, and past it into the m-text box.
You can use lisp routines in Carlson. I know, I use them. You just can't use them in stand-alone Carlson from what I understand.
Usually, I do as suggested above, copy and paste into MTEXT. However, I also have a lisp routine for doing that. It's not the best, since some punctuation and otherstuff sometimes gets goofed up, but it beats re-typing the whole thing.
I understand that Express Tools was integrated with newer versions of AutoCAD so perhaps txt2mtxt at the command line will work.

Probably Not
Autodesk goes out of their way to disable as much as possible in the lower cost AutoCAD engine they provide to Carlson.
