A nearby county has its aerial imagery on a WMTS server.?ÿ I have instructions for accessing the imagery using C3D, but I don't have C3D, so I thought I'd see if I could get to it using QGIS.?ÿ However, after connecting to the server I get the following error message:
Invalid Layer: WMS provider Cannot calculate extent Raster layer Provider is not valid (provider: wms, URI: crs=EPSG:3857&dpiMode=7&format=image/png&layers=3inch_Orthos&styles=default&tileMatrixSet=GoogleMapsCompatible&url= https://services.sanborn.com/geo_caches/312021386_Solano_County_Oblique/wmts.xml
The instructions I have say that no login credentials are required for this server.?ÿ
I'm barely able to operate QGIS for rudimentary functions, but have no experience with WMTS connections, so I'm stuck.?ÿ If any of you GIS people can suss out what I'm doing wrong -- or even determine that what I'm trying to do isn't possible -- I'd love to hear about it.
Thanks!
P.S.?ÿ The server is the?= https://services.sanborn.com/geo_caches/312021386_Solano_County_Oblique/wmts.xml
It works in Civil 3D.
I can't get it to work in QGIS either.
It also works in ESRI Arcmap.
