NGS changed the submission page for OPUS (Static and RS) yesterday (Monday 26 Feb 2018).

One of the changes is the antenna selection box has been 'augmented' with a select2 (java based) selector which dynamically loads the antenna list independently of the primary page load.

They added a message today that refreshing the page / cache may help. If you are manually submitting, you might also try using an 'incognito' browser window.

If you are using the iGage Download tool (iGx-Download) then it appears that using the 'Direct OU Submission' (automated Opus Upload) tool (Settings: check the 'Use Direct OU Submission' checkbox) continues to work.

A new version of the iGx-Download tool will be made available soon, however the select2 combo box may not be easily automated...

What I think would be a very useful enhancement (which I have suggested before) is to read the rinex file header and use those as "seed" for the input boxes. The drop down antenna type would still be available, but whatever is in the header would be selected unless changed. Similarly, the HI box could be populated with the value in the header, and changed if not correct.?ÿ

Trimble RTX takes the input files and ONLY relies on what is in the file (whether rinex or .t02 or .dat, etc). No option to change. That would also benefit, I think, from the opportunity to change those values if desired.?ÿ

I agree.

RINEX headers are metadata and should reflect the true Height, Antenna Type. Additionally it would be nice if the Marker Name and Description (Marker Name, Marker Number) made it from the RINEX input file to the final output too.

We should recognize the amazing new plots on the submission page now too:

OPUS Stats

The yellow bar at the top is FANTASTIC because it explains why solutions are not racing back.

Thank you NGS!

Mark,

It would also be nice for users of OPUS Projects if the serial numbers for the receiver and antenna were captured from the RINEX files.?ÿ Not that big a deal unless you put off (like I normally do) entering that data for the mark info.?ÿ Then it can take forever for OPUS Projects to refresh the page.

P.S.?ÿ Had a blast chatting with you in Vegas.?ÿ After I catch up with a few things, I'll share the data I mentioned where some stations are under "limited" canopy.

Does anyone else have trouble using the map of shared solutions??ÿ It used to work on my phone and desktop computers.?ÿ Today I gave up on the phone, and find the desktop (Win7 on DSL) to be almost unworkably slow.

On the whole, the changes seem far less annoying that other GUI things that often change unannounced on us (read:windows).?ÿ In another week I will probably love it.?ÿ

The new page no longer keeps the antenna type when clicking Return to OPUS after a submission.

hopefully they fix that.
